Tahoe Aspen Leaf

Created for the Ritz Carlton of Tahoe in collaboration with Local Language of Oakland, this 65-piece handmade custom ceramic concept honors the local ecology and the native trees.

The ceramic "leaves" are stylized Quaking Aspen leaves that are dimensional and have a change in surface elevation to delineate the transition from the white glaze to gold glaze. Each tile is meticulously crafted and unique from the other through shaping and texture.
